How can you find out your IP address?:

ipinfo.info/html/ip_checker.php
Go to any page of this and you will see your IP.

I gives many reason just like

For hiding IP you have 3 possibilities:
VPN - Virtual Private Network
Fact is VPN cost money.
Free VPN's mostly safe logs. What are logs? Logs are your history / activity, cookies and all over. It's not for advantage if you talk to someone we will hack this at monday, and the you got police on your door. A VPN lead your traffic about a another IP.

Tor Network is a Open Source Tool, it's a modified browser.
It's a onion network. Don't laughing, I tell you why:
Here we have one proxy and this proxy is knotted on a second and the second to third proxy and so on until you come out and come into the internet. Tor is basic sayed the non plus ultra if want to be anonymous.
And now be aware!
It only for the traffic which going about the browser not for third tools. If you play online games then you are connected on your real IP.
What you can do with tor is surf anonymously.
If you register to facebook on tor network you are stupid. It's only for surf. If someone check the exit nodes then maybe you can be discovered.
